Protection of personal data

In application of Law n°78-17 of January 6, 1978 (known as the Data Protection Act) and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), we inform you that the Firm may be required to collect and store your data of a personal nature for the purposes of processing the file in accordance with the mission entrusted, accounting management, and to establish its relationship and interactions with you. Your data will be kept for three years following the end of the mission entrusted to the Firm.

The information collected is recorded in a computerized file held by Maître Jérome Rivkine, Lawyer at the Paris Bar and responsible for data processing for the aforementioned purposes. The legal basis for the processing is the consent of the person to the processing of their data and the legitimate interest of the necessary processing of the Firm, in strict compliance with the rights and interests of the persons whose data is processed.

The Firm undertakes not to disclose, not to transmit, not to share this personal data with other entities, companies or organizations, whatever they may be.

You have a right of access, limitation, rectification or erasure and can therefore withdraw your consent at any time.

In the event that you consider that your data has not been adequately protected or in the event of a violation of the GDPR, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the CNIL.

Settlement of disputes

In the event of a dispute between the client and the Firm, relating in particular to fees, the dispute will fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the President of the Paris Bar Association.

However, in accordance with Law (“Ordonnance”) No. 2015-103 of August 20, 2015 relating to the extrajudicial settlement of consumer disputes and Decree No. 2015-1382 of October 30, 2015 relating to the mediation of consumer disputes, any consumer may resort free of charge to a consumer mediator for the amicable settlement of a dispute.

By decision of the General Assembly of the National Bar Council of November 15 and 16, 2019, Carole PASCAREL was appointed national consumer mediator for the legal profession.
