RIVKINE CONSEIL was founded by J\u00e9rome RIVKINE, a member of the Paris Bar with a doctorate in international relations.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>

A lawyer dedicated to human relations, he is involved in numerous organizations in the fields of health, sport, and individual and collective well-being.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>

Presentation<\/h2>

J\u00e9rome Rivkine holds a post-graduate diploma (DEA) in International Economic and Development Law from the University of Paris V in 1999, a post-graduate diploma of attorney-at-law from Paris Bar School in 2002 and a doctorate in International Relations (PhD thesis) from the University of Paris V in 2005.<\/p>

He has worked as a lawyer since 2001 in major law firms both in Japan and France, such as LMT Avocats and Ernst & Young.<\/p>

His early work focused primarily on corporate law, commercial law, financial law, and international transactions.<\/span><\/p>

In 2011, he founded RIVKINE AVOCATS, a “boutique law firm” specialized in general business law, dedicated to assist individuals and companies in their day-to-day affairs. He also teaches at a number of universities.<\/p>

Affected by a cancer in 2013, he set aside his law practice to focus on the healthcare sector.\u00a0He develops an in-depth reflection on the place of the patient, the experience of care, resilience, adapted physical activity and self-reconstruction.<\/span><\/p>

In 2016, he publishes a book (Les cinq saisons<\/em>, L’Harmattan).<\/p>

In this autobiographical work, he recounts his experience as a cancer patient and offers reflections on vulnerability, identity, resilience, and the meaning found in adversity. <\/span><\/p>

He contributes articles to specialized journals and regularly speaks at universities, associations, health organizations, and public institutions.<\/span><\/p>

In 2018, he becomes a member of the board of directors at CAMI Sport & Cancer.<\/p>

In 2019 he is appointed as a patient-expert for the Fondation de France and he joins the Sport Health Insertion Committee.<\/p>

In 2020, he cocreates the Association des Patients en Onco-Pneumologie de l’H\u00f4pital Foch (APOP Foch), a patient organization located into the H\u00f4pital Foch, committed to bring patient support and advocacy.<\/p>

In 2022, he is graduated at the Universit\u00e9 des Patients-Sorbonne of a university degree (DU) in Health Democracy; he is trained in Patient Therapeutic Education (PTE) at the same University.<\/p>

In 2023, he joins the team of the Universit\u00e9 Sorbonne Paris-Nord to teach “the patient perspective” at the General Medecine Department and raise awareness among general medical students on topics such as patient rights, the healthcare relationship and the co-construction of medical decisions.<\/p>

In 2024, he was appointed a member of the Board of Directors of the Union Nationale Sportive L\u00e9o Lagrange and the Union R\u00e9gionale Ile-de-France L\u00e9o Lagrange, a multi-sport and affinity sports federation grouping 400 associations, whose aim is to provide education and integration through sport, so as to promote access to citizenship and health through sport.<\/p>

It was in the light of these experiences that he founded RIVKINE CONSEIL, a law office and patient-partner consulting company both involved in the healthcare sector, with combined skills and intersected perspectives \u00a0for a global approach tailored to each situation.<\/div>
